Trump Gets Massive Revenge On Fox News Host Who Hates Him

Former President Donald Trump is not holding back in his criticism of Fox News, particularly calling out the network and its prominent anchor, Bret Baier, for what he views as their leniency toward Democrats. In anticipation of Baier's upcoming interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump took to Truth Social to refer to Baier as “very soft.”

Harris is set to appear on Baier’s show, Special Report, for her first official interview on Fox News.

This interview, scheduled for October 16th, comes at a pivotal time in the 2024 presidential race, with both the Harris and Trump campaigns intensifying their efforts in battleground states ahead of the election.

Trump, frustrated with the network's coverage, criticized Baier and other Fox News hosts for what he considers an overly accommodating approach to Democratic figures. In his post, Trump stated, “Lyin’ Kamala Harris has wisely chosen Bret Baier, of FoxNews, to do a much-needed interview, because he is considered to be ‘Fair & Balanced,’ though often very soft to those on the ‘cocktail circuit’ Left.”

While Fox News has long been a supporter of Trump, this isn't the first time he has voiced dissatisfaction with the network. In recent months, Trump has increasingly accused Fox of shifting its focus, alleging that it provides too much airtime to Democrats without sufficient pushback.

In his continued posts, Trump claimed that Fox News had “totally lost its way” and accused the network of “polluting the airwaves” with unchallenged Democratic voices. He specifically targeted Harris’s senior advisor, Ian Sams, accusing him of dominating Fox’s programming with pro-Harris commentary.

“I would have preferred seeing a more hard-hitting journalist, but Fox has grown so weak and soft on the Democrats, constantly polluting the airwaves with unopposed Kamala Representatives, that it all doesn’t matter anymore,” Trump wrote. “Hopefully, the people will understand on November 5th, and Early Voting.”

Trump’s remarks come as both he and Harris prepare for campaign events in Pennsylvania, a crucial swing state in the 2024 election.

For months, Harris has avoided tough interviews from media outlets perceived as critical of her administration. Instead, she has favored more friendly platforms, such as recent appearances on The View, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Howard Stern Show. Harris’s decision to engage with Fox News, a network known for its conservative audience, is seen by some political observers as an attempt to reach voters who have been unreceptive to her message. Analysts speculate that this move reflects growing concerns within the Harris camp about Trump’s rising momentum in key swing states.

“Lyin’ Kamala, after having turned down the FoxNews Debate on September 4th, which I accepted, is now saying she wants to Debate, despite the fact that the Votes are already being cast,” Trump said. He added, “Before, she had turned down the opportunity to debate with me. It’s easy to see why she wants it now; she’s trailing in the polls and is desperate!”

Trump also took aim at Harris’s recent media performances, particularly her controversial 60 Minutes interview, which he has criticized on multiple occasions. He claimed that Harris needed help from networks like CBS to modify her responses during interviews. “The problem is that Kamala can’t even do a simple interview, and needs the Fake News Broadcasters, like CBS, to completely withdraw her answer on 60 Minutes,” Trump remarked. He further accused the show of manipulating the interview to cast Harris in a favorable light, stating, “60 MINUTES WILL BE PAYING A HEAVY PRICE FOR A LONG TIME TO COME.”
