Trump Just Got Massive Revenge On Pelosi 2 DAYS After His Win

The resounding victory of President-elect Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris is likely a turning point, signaling the diminishing influence of senior Democratic leaders like former California House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The UK’s DailyMail.com reports that Pelosi, “who for decades reigned as kingmaker in her party, stood the risk of having her status as a power player in the party unceremoniously stripped away on the back of” Harris’ defeat.

This dramatic decline in Pelosi's influence follows closely on her recent high-profile role in efforts to sideline President Joe Biden from seeking re-election.

According to the outlet, Pelosi, now 84, was seen in a heated exchange with former Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile after Harris delivered her concession speech at Howard University on Wednesday.

As the aftermath of the election unfolds, DailyMail.com highlights Pelosi at the center of the blame as discussions intensify over the vice president’s unexpected loss.

“The influences of a [Senate Majority Leader Chuck] Schumer or a Pelosi or a movie star or an Obama deciding to anoint somebody – those guys are gone,” said Kevin O’Leary, business investor and star of Shark Tank.

“In four years, they won’t have that kind of influence,” he added, indirectly referencing actor George Clooney, who famously urged Biden to end his campaign following a difficult debate with Trump.

Some Republicans point directly to Pelosi as the reason behind the Democrats’ significant losses—from the presidential race to the Senate flipping red, with the House majority still uncertain.

“Nancy Pelosi’s got to take responsibility,” said former GOP House Speaker and fellow Californian Kevin McCarthy during a recent interview on Fox News.

Pelosi was instrumental in Biden’s decision to withdraw from the race in July, just months before the election.

As Biden supporters across the country cast their votes, only to see Harris replace him as the nominee, McCarthy further argued that this maneuver undermined the democratic process.

“Joe Biden never should have run for office. I could tell when I met with him that something wasn’t right,” McCarthy asserted.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) contributed to what some are calling irrational fear-mongering within the Democratic Party following President-elect Donald Trump’s overwhelming win over Harris, warning about the rise of “authoritarianism” and “fascism.”

Once it was clear on Tuesday night that Trump would prevail, Ocasio-Cortez addressed her supporters on social media.

“I’m not here to sugarcoat what we all are about to collectively experience, but I think that what we can do to prepare is build community. We don’t have a choice. Our choice is to build. Our choice is to continue to fight. Our choice is to win. Our choice is to have each other,” she stated.

“We are about to enter a political period that will have consequences for the rest of our lives. We cannot give up. We now find ourselves in a time in history that has precedent, and we find ourselves, I believe, in a time where there are, let’s say, peers in history of mass movements of people that mobilize to protect one another in times of fascism and authoritarianism. And this is the era that we are poised to enter,” she claimed, without evidence.
