Trump Shares Big News About His Daughter During Speech

Former President Donald Trump paused his campaign to share exciting family news: he has become a grandfather once again.

During a speech in Detroit, Trump made the announcement while addressing the Detroit Economic Club, where he recognized several notable guests, including Massad Boulos, father-in-law to his daughter Tiffany Trump, The Hill reported.

As Trump praised Tiffany’s marriage to Michael Boulos, Massad Boulos’s son, he casually shared the news of the upcoming addition to their family.

“He happens to be the father of Tiffany’s husband, Michael, who’s a very exceptional young guy,” Trump said. “And she’s an exceptional young woman. And she’s going to have a baby. So that’s nice.”

In other news, Trump demonstrated his generosity by offering free accommodations to hundreds of linemen from power and light companies who gathered in Florida ahead of Hurricane Milton.

On Wednesday, Eric Trump shared a 24-second video clip on the social media platform X, welcoming 275 linemen from Florida Power & Light Company to the Trump National Doral Miami golf resort. The workers, who are preparing to restore power in the aftermath of the storm, are staying at the resort free of charge.

“Honored to have 275 incredible linemen from FPL at @TrumpDoral as they get ready to respond to the aftermath of Hurricane #Milton! You are amazing, and the Trump Family, and the entire state of Florida, appreciate you! Enjoy the rooms – they are the best in Florida! Be safe!” Eric wrote on X.

According to Florida’s Voice, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that over 50,000 linemen from across the nation are ready to respond to the damage once the storm passes, marking the largest staging of its kind in U.S. history. As local reports indicate, more than 3.5 million people were already without power.

“As soon as the storm passes, the assessment and power restoration efforts will begin immediately,” DeSantis said.

In the meantime, the linemen received first-class treatment while staying at Trump’s resort.

“As one of Condé Nast Traveler’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Award winners for Best Resorts in Florida, Trump National Doral Miami continues to set the standard for luxury and excellence,” the resort’s website states. Guest rooms typically start at $251 per night, with suites beginning at $451.

Supporters of the former president were unsurprised by this act of generosity, seeing it as another example of his characteristic kindness.

Meanwhile, Governor DeSantis criticized Vice President Kamala Harris after she accused him of being “selfish” for prioritizing his state’s needs as Hurricane Milton approached. Harris also claimed that DeSantis ignored her phone call, which he denied.

“All she’s doing is trying to inject herself into her political campaign. I don’t have time for political games,” DeSantis said during a press conference. “I’ve got a job to do, people’s lives are at stake, and that’s our only focus.”

He added, “If I thought there was something to gain, I would’ve picked up the phone and called her. But the truth is, she has no role in this process. She’s not part of the chain of command. I’m working with President Biden, FEMA, state and local partners, and we’re getting the job done.”

DeSantis continued, “She hasn’t shown interest in any of the storms we’ve dealt with in Florida during her time as Vice President. Now, she’s attacking me because I’m not giving in to her whims?”
