Trump Shutters Massive Agency – Deep State Destroyed!

A recent report states that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) shut down its headquarters to staff on Monday. This move came following actions by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is currently being overseen by Elon Musk.

Agency employees received an email informing them that “Agency leadership” had made the decision to proceed with the transition. The message also directed staff to submit any responses to an email associated with Gavin Kliger, who serves as a special adviser to the director of the Office of Personnel Management and is also linked to DOGE, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Early Monday morning, Musk announced that President Donald Trump “agreed” to shut down USAID, an agency responsible for distributing billions in humanitarian, development, and security aid to over a hundred countries.

“None of this could be done without the full support of the President, you know. And with regard to the USAID stuff, I went over it with him in detail, and he agreed that we should shut it down,” Musk stated during an X Spaces discussion.

“And I actually checked with him a few times. I said, ‘Are you sure?’ He’s like, ‘Yes,’” Musk, the owner of social media platform X, continued. “So we’re shutting it down.”

During the same discussion—where former DOGE co-leader Vivek Ramaswamy and Iowa Republican Senator Joni Ernst were also present—Musk suggested that there was virtually no way to reform or improve USAID. As a result, he explained, the decision was made to eliminate the agency entirely.

“So to be clear, in shutting down, which we’re in the process of doing, shutting down USAID, the reason for that, as opposed to simply trying to do some minor house cleaning, is that, as we dug into USAID, it became apparent that what we have here is not an apple with a worm in it, but we have actually just a ball of worms,” Musk stated, as reported by The Hill.

“If you’ve got an apple that’s got a worm in it, maybe you can take the worm out, but if you’ve got actually just a ball of worms, it’s hopeless. And USAID is a ball of worms. There is no apple. And when there is no apple, you’ve just got to basically get rid of the whole thing,” he elaborated. “That is why it’s got to go. It’s beyond repair.”

According to agency staff who spoke with the Associated Press, more than 600 employees were abruptly locked out of the system overnight. The remaining personnel who still had access received the email detailing the closure.

Musk and his DOGE team have reportedly been working to take control of USAID’s sensitive files, which include a range of intelligence reports.

“We spent the weekend feeding USAID into the wood chipper. Could’ve gone to some great parties. Did that instead,” Musk remarked during an X Spaces conversation on Monday morning.

Earlier on Sunday, Musk had declared, “USAID is a criminal organization,” and added, “It’s time for it to pass away.” That evening, President Trump also commented on the agency, making critical statements.

“It’s been run by a bunch of radical lunatics. And we’re getting them out,” Trump told reporters Sunday night.
