Trump Tells Joe Rogan Who 'The Enemy from Within' Really Is and What They Are Doing to Our Country
If you haven’t noticed the recent shift in the Democrats' strategy in the final stretch of the campaign, the upbeat days are pretty much over.
Instead, Vice President Kamala Harris and her team have intensified their portrayal of former President Donald Trump as "Literally Hitler™." To back this claim, they’ve highlighted several quotes — often lacking full context or with questionable sources.
A key phrase they’re emphasizing is Trump’s reference to an “enemy from within.” This phrase has provoked strong reactions from Harris on several occasions, especially during her Fox News interview:
So, what does Trump mean by the "enemy from within"? He touched on this during his much-anticipated appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast Friday, mentioning that just hearing the phrase “drives them crazy.”
“We have people that are really bad people, that I really think want to make this country unsuccessful,” Trump said, shifting the conversation to the border crisis as an example.
“When other countries are allowed to empty their prisons into our country, with murderers — we’ve had 13,099 murderers dropped in our country over the last three years,” Trump stated.
“And 15,000 rapists, convicted,” Rogan added.
Trump nodded: “Rapists, convicted rapists, drug dealers, drug lords, terrorists–” he continued.
“And that’s just the ones that have been caught,” Rogan noted, also mentioning that migrant-led criminal gangs had become an issue in places like San Antonio and Aurora, Colorado.
In case you missed it, here’s the video:
This is exactly what the left is likely to be outraged about tomorrow and throughout the campaign. But the reason they’re upset isn’t because Trump is calling to "round up" his enemies. They’re bothered because, in a sense, he has a point.
The Democrats need to appeal to swing voters in various states that have either dealt with illegal immigration directly or have family members affected by it. They also need the votes of those who have noticed the anti-Semitic and anti-Israel stances that the Biden administration, with Harris as part of it, has indirectly supported. Similarly, they want to win over voters who believe Russiagate was a fabricated narrative and that those behind it should be held accountable.
This, in Trump’s terms, is what he means by the “enemy from within,” and it’s an idea that resonates with many Americans.
In this instance, it’s not so much the illegal immigrants themselves, but rather those who allowed the border crisis to escalate for political gain. It’s not hard to see which side this refers to in the election. The same applies to anti-Israeli sentiments and to pushing a version of the Green New Deal during a struggling economy.
There’s a clear side in this election associated with these actions, and now it’s trying to dodge the repercussions. To figure out which side that is, just see who’s most vocal against Trump’s words — and who will continue reacting to his statements into next week.
