Trump Uses Infamous Kamala Harris Answer to Respond to Reporter

If former President Donald Trump—the Republican nominee—is feeling any tension about the current presidential election, he’s certainly not revealing it.

Instead, Trump seemed relaxed enough to share some humor and jab at his main political opponent, Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris, while speaking to reporters after casting his ballot in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Standing beside his wife, Melania Trump, the former president addressed the press and offered a few noteworthy comments.

“Republicans have shown up in force,” Trump remarked. “So, we’ll see how it turns out, but it seems that they have really shown up in force.”

Trump then shared a story about how Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick personally called him, astonished by the voter turnout in Texas.

When the former president turned back to the reporters, he happened to catch a question about regret among the various voices.

“Look, regrets—you always have regrets,” Trump responded to one reporter’s question. “I can’t think of any, to be honest.

“To use her expression: ‘I can’t think of any.’”

The “her” Trump referenced was Harris, who faced scrutiny for a similar response, though in an entirely different context.

Earlier in October, as her campaign began showing signs of strain, Harris appeared on “The View” and was asked if, in hindsight, she would have done anything differently than President Joe Biden.

“There is not a thing that comes to mind,” Harris said at the time.

Even when given a second opportunity to answer the question during an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Harris’s response did not improve much.

“I’m obviously not Joe Biden,” she told Colbert. “I’m not Donald Trump.”

Trump offered a bit more insight into why he didn’t have significant regrets about his presidential run.

“Look, I ran a great campaign,” Trump stated. “I think it was maybe the best of the three [presidential campaigns in 2016, 2020, and 2024].

“We did great in the first one. We did much better in the second one, but something happened.”

Trump then reiterated his belief that this 2024 campaign is his strongest effort yet.
