Trump’s New Book Debuts On The New York Times Bestseller List

Former President Donald Trump has achieved yet another victory, though this time it’s unrelated to politics or elections. His third book since leaving office, Saving America, has debuted on The New York Times Best Seller List, despite its $99 price tag and the publication’s traditionally critical stance towards him.

“I just learned that my newest book, SAVE AMERICA, is a New York Times BEST SELLER! No other book takes you behind the scenes like this coffee table book. I picked each photo, and I can tell you it is FANTASTIC. Get your copy today at 45books.com,” Trump announced via Truth Social.

The book reached the #11 spot on the nonfiction hardcover list, with the cover featuring Trump’s now-famous raised fist from an iconic moment after surviving an assassination attempt. The book outlines his vision for America should he reclaim the presidency from Vice President Kamala Harris.

Sergio Gor, CEO of Winning Team Publishing, praised the achievement: “We are thrilled President Trump has made multiple bestseller lists, including the New York Times. Considering that his book is priced higher than most, it’s an incredible accomplishment.”

Trump’s recent success isn’t limited to book sales. According to a poll conducted by The New York Times, Trump's favorability rating is higher than pop sensation Taylor Swift’s, a surprise given her broad popularity. The survey, conducted in collaboration with the Philadelphia Inquirer and Siena College between September 11 and 16, found that only 44% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Swift, largely due to her public endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris.

The same poll shows Trump with a slightly higher favorability rating at 47%, compared to Swift's 44%. Vice President Kamala Harris edged out both with 48% of Americans viewing her favorably.

Swift had publicly declared her support for Harris following the Democratic National Convention: “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election... I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader, and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to focus on key campaign issues, including the U.S.-Mexico border. His pledge to strengthen border security has garnered significant support from an important voter demographic: Latinos. A recent poll by Axios-Ipsos indicates a notable shift in Latino support for policies like building a border wall and deporting undocumented immigrants.

The poll shows that 42% of Latino adults now back building a wall along the southern border, marking a 12-point increase since 2021. Support for deporting undocumented immigrants has also risen, with 38% of Latinos supporting mass deportations, compared to 28% in 2021.

Even among Latino groups with strong connections to immigration, Trump's tough stance on border security seems to be resonating. Cuban Americans show the strongest support, with 58% favoring a border wall, while Mexican immigrants and Mexican Americans show the least support, with 37% in favor. 43% of Central Americans also support the wall.

Additionally, 64% of Latinos surveyed support granting the president authority to close the border if too many immigrants are attempting to enter—a question asked for the first time in this survey.

These figures reflect growing Republican gains among Latino voters, driven by concerns over illegal immigration, an issue now central to the election. Trump has vowed, if re-elected, to prioritize border security, with plans to organize mass deportations, a policy he claims could affect up to a million people.
