Tucker Carlson Describes Shocking ‘Attack’ While Asleep
In a recent video interview, Tucker Carlson shared details of a terrifying encounter he experienced while asleep—a violent attack he believes was from a demon. This incident led him to purchase a Bible, which he has since read extensively.
“It was a transformative experience. I got attacked while I was asleep with my wife and four dogs in the bed … and mauled. Physically mauled by a demon or by something unseen that left claw marks on my sides,” said Carlson, a well-known podcast host.
He mentioned that even a year and a half later, marks from the attack are still visible.
“I woke up. I couldn’t breathe. I thought I was going to suffocate,” Carlson recounted. “I had these terrible pains on my rib cage and on my shoulder.”
Trying to comprehend what had occurred, Carlson explained that he went to the bathroom, turned on the lights, and saw “four claw marks on either side, underneath my arms and on my left shoulder. And they were bleeding.”
Carlson stressed, “I’m not from a world where things like that happen. I never heard of anything like that happening before.” He continued, “I knew it was spiritual immediately.”
Reflecting on his background, he stated, “I’m not from a faith tradition that talks about things like that or even acknowledges their existence. I’ve never heard anybody say anything like that in my whole life. The next morning, I woke up and thought, ‘That was the weirdest dream I’ve ever had.’ And then I saw blood on my sheets and realized that was not a dream at all.”
After this experience, Carlson felt an intense urge to read the Bible, which he began without guidance or study aids.
“For a year and a half, I read it, then started re-reading it, and it was just a transformative experience for me.”
Carlson added, “No one has to believe me. I don’t care. But that happened to me.”
Rod Dreher, an Orthodox Christian and author of The Benedict Option, confirmed Carlson’s story on social media.
“Tucker Carlson has gone public with the news that he was physically attacked by a demon,” Dreher shared. “This is true. He told me about it a year ago. Terrifying stuff.”
This revelation comes as Carlson’s career reaches new heights, over a year after parting ways with his previous network where he hosted a top-rated show.
Carlson’s podcast recently hit the No. 1 position on Spotify, surpassing “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which had previously dominated the platform. Rogan signed a $200 million exclusivity deal with Spotify in 2020.
In a February appearance on the Lex Fridman podcast, Carlson disclosed that U.S. intelligence agencies monitored his communications before his planned interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He also mentioned that the administration had threatened to arrest him if the interview was perceived as too lenient toward Putin. This surveillance, Carlson noted, was conducted under the current administration led by President Joe Biden.
Here’s a portion of their conversation:
LEX FRIDMAN: So, the NSA was tracking you, do you think CIA was? Do you think people still tracking you?
So I talked to two people who would know, trust me. And that’s all I can say. And I, I hate to be like, “Oh, I talk to people who know.” But I mean, they would know, and both of them said exactly the same thing, which is, “Are you joking? Nothing is secure. Everything is monitored all the time.” If state actors are involved. I mean, you can keep the Malaysian mafia from reading your texts probably, you can not keep the big intel services from reading your texts. It’s not possible, any of them. Or listening to your calls.
So, and that was the firm conclusion of people who’ve been involved in it for a long time, decades, in both cases. So I just thought, you know what? I don’t care. I don’t care.
LEX FRIDMAN: You say it lightly, but it’s really troublesome that, as a journalist, you would be tracked.
TUCKER CARLSON: Well, they leaked it to Semafor and they leaked it to the New York Times.
