Tucker Carlson Responds After Dan Crenshaw Is Caught on Hot Mic Threatening to 'Kill' Him

Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw sparked controversy after allegedly making a violent remark about conservative commentator and talk show host Tucker Carlson.

During an interview last week in London, Steve Edginton, the U.S. correspondent for GB News, spoke with Crenshaw, who criticized Carlson’s stance against increased U.S. aid to Ukraine.

“Tucker doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” Crenshaw stated. “Tucker likes to visit Moscow and talk about how great the grocery stores are, so I don’t really take his advice very seriously.”

Following the interview, Edginton later claimed on X that Crenshaw had made a direct threat against Carlson, stating he would kill him if they ever met in person. Crenshaw denied the claim, responding with a brief post that read, “lol, no.”

GB News subsequently released footage of Crenshaw’s remarks. While the network later appeared to remove the video, journalist Nick Sortor had already shared a copy that showed the exchange in question.

“Have you ever met Tucker?” Edginton asked Crenshaw while staff dismantled the interview setup.

“We’ve talked a lot on Twitter,” Crenshaw responded. “If I ever meet him, I’ll f***ing kill him.”

Crenshaw then seemed to reinforce his statement, adding, “I’m not joking. He’s the worst person.”

WARNING: The following video contains vulgar language that some readers may find offensive.

The reason for GB News’ removal of the original footage remains unclear.

In response, Carlson invited Crenshaw to a sit-down discussion.

“Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do?” Carlson posted on X.

“I’ll send you my address.”

Elon Musk also commented on the matter, asking, “Why is Crenshaw homicidal regarding Tucker?”

Carlson has previously criticized Crenshaw, asserting that the congressman prioritizes foreign engagements over U.S. interests.

“The single most left-wing, truly left-wing, member of Congress I’ve ever met personally is a Republican,” Carlson remarked during a speaking tour last year. “Who has no interest in the United States whatsoever and does not even pretend.”

“It’s Dan Crenshaw,” he concluded.

Radio host Jesse Kelly, who was present at the event with Carlson, also took aim at Crenshaw’s political image.

“Throw on some cowboy boots, and you buy a shotgun and go out there and take a picture shooting at some pheasants, and you learn how to speak the lingo a little bit,” Kelly quipped. “Now you know what to say, how to deceive exactly, and you find yourself in a position of power, kneecapping people on the right, time after time after time.”

“Our controlled opposition problem is so bad,” Kelly added.
