Two Shocking Top Dems Planning 'Blitz Primary' Coup Against Biden

The Democrats' concern about whether President Joe Biden will step down has now reached the point of considering if Taylor Swift can save them.

According to a report by Semafor, two influential Democrats have been circulating a letter among party donors outlining a plan for a “blitz primary” to replace Biden.

The memo, authored by Rosa Brooks, a law professor at Georgetown University and former Obama administration member, alongside Ted Dintersmith, a startup capitalist and Democratic donor, proposes a primary process lasting one month. In this process, six candidates who garner the most votes from party delegates would participate.

The delegates would then select the party's final nominee just before the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, starting on August 19th.

Among the various aspects of this plan, which critics may dismiss as fanciful, it is crucial for all candidates to pledge to conduct a positive campaign. The proposal requires President Biden’s immediate and wholehearted endorsement, despite his clear intention to remain in the race.

So, where does Taylor Swift come into play? As part of their strategy, Brooks and Dintersmith propose holding regular forums with the six potential candidates, moderated by various cultural figures. Suggested moderators include Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Taylor Swift.

Despite criticism, Brooks claims her bold proposal has received significant support, according to Semafor.

“We can limp to shameful, avoidable democracy-ending defeat,” the memo states (per Semafor). “Or Democrats can make this Our Finest Hour.”

Many Democrats will likely be pleased, at the very least, with the aim of avoiding what is quickly becoming a cruel summer.
