Watch: Fed-Up Phoenix Cops Make Their Move, Deploy the Mean Green Gas as Deportation Riots Continue

You knew the anti-deportation protesters would emerge. After all, they seem to have endless free time and have absorbed so much propaganda that resisting it appears beyond their control.

The sheer futility of these ill-informed, grievance-driven, and easily manipulated activists who rally behind leftist causes should not obscure the fact that their demonstrations also carry a darker undertone.

For example, a video posted to the social media platform X on Thursday captured law enforcement in Phoenix, Arizona, clad in riot gear, issuing firm warnings before deploying a green chemical agent seemingly intended to disperse the crowd.

The footage depicted officers advancing behind a line of police vehicles, equipped with shields and wearing gas masks.

The gathering was in protest against the deportation of criminal illegal immigrants.

Notably, the green gas was released well before police reached the demonstrators, indicating that it served as a cautionary measure—albeit a serious one.

“Wall Street Apes,” a widely followed account boasting more than 787,000 followers on X as of Friday morning, shared the clip.

“This is getting violent, someone is paying for these huge protests,” Wall Street Apes wrote.

WARNING: The following video contains vulgar language that may offend some readers.

Indeed, the question of who orchestrated and financed these protests is one that likely lingers in the minds of many. Given revelations from X owner Elon Musk and his team at the Department of Government Efficiency, it is well-documented that groups like USAID and other government-linked organizations have covertly backed numerous leftist movements worldwide, including the 2019 impeachment effort against President Donald Trump.

Gina Mendez, representing Living United for Change in Arizona—a group opposing deportations—suspected the involvement of external provocateurs in Phoenix.

“You never know who is leading the actions,” Mendez stated, according to Arizona’s Family News. “And we want to make sure the folks that are leading the action have the best intentions for community members, and so we are asking folks to just be on standby because you never [know] if there’s going to be extremists who will try to go out there and yell. And we don’t want any situation to escalate.”

Of course, whether peaceful or otherwise, these protests carry an anti-democratic tone.

Trump campaigned on a promise of large-scale deportations. He then secured a decisive victory in the 2024 election. Since assuming office, he has exercised his constitutional authority to fulfill that commitment.

Meanwhile, border czar Tom Homan has made it clear that sanctuary city policies, which prevent cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, place ICE agents in greater danger.

Dissenters are certainly entitled to express their opposition. However, any tangible resistance to Trump’s deportation initiatives equates to unlawful defiance of the electorate’s decision.

Arizona Republican state Sen. John Kavanagh reinforced this very point regarding Trump’s mandate to expel violent illegal immigrants.

“Everything Trump is doing is what the voters said they wanted him to do, and he’s beginning with the criminals. He’s prioritizing let’s get rid of the criminals. Which, by the way, gives time for the non-criminal illegals to get their affairs in order: go back to their country, apply for legal entry, and then as we deport the people who are here illegally and we need people for jobs, they can come back under a legal status,” Kavanagh told Arizona’s Family.

Additionally, a video posted to X on Tuesday highlighted two more troubling issues.

First, the demonstrations in Phoenix had continued for much of the week.

Second, protesters were seen marching toward law enforcement while carrying Mexican flags.

Ultimately, a legitimate constitutional republic must accommodate peaceful protests.

However, must it silently accept riots in defense of violent illegal immigrant criminals, led by demonstrators brandishing foreign flags, potentially organized or financed by outside forces and government-affiliated entities—while these protesters aggressively advance toward the police?

No nation should tolerate such actions.
