Watch: Peter Doocy Has Trump, Kid Rock Cracking Up with Sharp-Witted Remark on Rock's Attire

For four years, the Biden administration cast a shadow over America, both figuratively and literally, with its policies and leadership.

That cloud has now lifted with President Donald Trump back in the White House.

A perfect example of this shift took place Monday evening in the Oval Office, where patriotism, humor, and authenticity were on full display. Music icon Kid Rock, a vocal Trump supporter, showed up in a bold red, white, and blue outfit—only to become the subject of a hilarious moment sparked by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy.

As always, Trump set the stage.

“Did Biden do news conferences like this, Peter?” the president asked in a video shared on X. “I don’t think so.”

According to Mediaite, Kid Rock was in attendance for the signing of an executive order aimed at combating ticket scalping, specifically targeting bots that buy tickets in bulk to resell at excessive prices.

“No,” Doocy quipped instantly. “[Biden] was never standing next to somebody who looked like they were about to be shot out of a cannon.”

The remark had Kid Rock laughing, clapping in approval, and shaking Doocy’s hand.

Trump, clearly amused, also chuckled at the exchange.

Moments like this serve as a reminder that political alignment isn’t just about policy—it’s about a broader contrast between vibrancy and stagnation.

For instance, the kind of bold and unapologetic patriotism Kid Rock represents was notably absent in the Biden White House.

Similarly, humor in the previous administration was often unintentional, surfacing most prominently in speeches warning about threats to “democracy.”

Beyond that, authenticity was lacking under Biden’s leadership. The former president frequently took extended vacations and seemed disengaged from his duties. When party leaders later positioned Vice President Kamala Harris as their 2024 nominee, she also avoided unscripted moments.

Trump, in contrast, exudes confidence, comfort, and leadership in the public eye.

If you caught his full news conference Monday evening, you would have seen him answer a range of reporter questions, offer detailed responses, and exchange additional playful jabs with Doocy.

While there is still much on Trump’s policy agenda, one thing is certain—he’s already brought fresh air back into the White House.
