Watch: Trump and Biden 'Act Like Buddies' in Oval Office Meet

For those who love social media theories suggesting that President Joe Biden might have cast his vote for President-elect Donald Trump instead of Vice President Kamala Harris… here’s some more potential fuel.

On Wednesday, Trump and Biden met at the White House, marking the first official step in the transfer of power.

(The traditional tea with the first ladies is apparently off the agenda.)

While many may have expected some lingering animosity between these once-intense political adversaries, the meeting appeared far from tense.

And social media took note:

“Biden and Trump meet in the White House and act like buddies,” shared reporter Aaron Rupar on X.

Indeed, their conversation seemed to challenge the Democratic portrayal of Trump as “literally Adolf Hitler.”

“Welcome back,” Biden greeted him, without any noticeable tension.

“Thank you very much,” Trump replied, adding, “Politics is tough, and in many cases, it’s not a very nice world.

“But it is a nice world today.”

Some observers noted the meeting’s brevity, pointing to the mutual agreement on a peaceful transition:

Others on social media humorously speculated that the roaring fireplace made the room too warm, leading to a shorter meeting.

Still, some took Biden’s cheerful demeanor as further “evidence” that he may have indeed “voted red” this election year.

This theory has been swirling since Election Day, after Jill Biden was seen wearing a striking red outfit while casting her vote.

Adding to the intrigue, Biden looked especially cheerful in his first appearance following Trump’s sweeping election win.

Any one of these incidents on its own might be a stretch.

But taken together? It’s easy to see why conspiracy theories are gaining traction.

Whatever the Bidens’ actual votes, the transfer of power will formally conclude on Jan. 20, 2025, with Trump’s inauguration as the 47th president of the United States.
